A diet with an an abundance of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains, has shown anti‐inflammatory effects when compared with typical North American diet.
Smoking and the use of tobacco has been shown to delay healing.
PAIN is not fun
Following a whole foods plant based diet is heavily supported by evidence to decrease prevalence of disease and actually work to reverse some chronic cardiovascular diseases. Ultimately the choice is yours. Take a hard look at your lifestyle and food choices. They may be contributing to your pain and slow recovery from injury. We are not dietitians or nutritionists.
